In January-September this year REMOVAL FROM CHINA TEXTILE AND CLOTHING INCREASED BY 1.04 PERCENT
In January-September of this year, exports of textiles and clothing from China amounted to 192 billion 693 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 1.04 percent compared to the same period last year. The situation with exports in this sector remains serious. This was stated by deputy chairman of the China Federation of Textile Industries Gao Yong at the branch meeting.
In particular, according to the federation, for the first nine months of this year, exports of clothing from China amounted to 116 billion 787 million U.S. dollars with an increase of 1.35 percent compared to the same period in 2011.
`In 2009, we at one time was marked by negative growth in exports of textile industry, but then our share in the U.S. and the EU continued to grow. In the same year, though, we remain positive growth in the export industry, our share of the world market is shrinking. So we need more reasonable to analyze the problems arising in our industry #39;- said Gao Yong.
`Particular attention should be paid to improving the quality of products#39; - said Gao Yong. In addition, the structure of the industry to be resolved production and development, strengthen technical renovation in order to neutralize the impact of external factors on the development of the domestic industry, he said.
