MOSCOW: The capital will be GAS TAXI
Ability to transfer capital taxis from petrol to gas are seriously considering the Moscow authorities.
As reported by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Moscow City Hall, the problem of gasification of urban transport has long been concerned officials, because this restructuring will significantly clean the air of the capital. But so far, the gas in Moscow dressed only one percent of the vehicles, the same goes for diesel fuel, and 98% - still on petrol.
Experiment to install gas appliances have decided to start with the metropolitan taxi fleets. At present, Moscow officially operate taxis in 2500. But even for such a modest number of machines is not enough gas stations. Moreover, it is unknown how many of these stations do exist in the capital.
In the coming days, their numbers will count and determine the number of missing. Only after the elimination of the deficit gas stations in cars taxi will show up gas cylinders.
