GOVERNMENT OF RUSSIA `zero out #39;DUTIES ON ADVANCED MATERIALS FOR LIGHT INDUSTRY
The Russian government issued a decree according to which reset the customs duties on the import of sophisticated equipment for light industry. The relevant decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov.
This ruling confirms the previously stated position of the Government, under which duties on equipment that has no analogues in Russia should be reduced to a minimum, or zeroed out. Such a measure, according to the Cabinet Office, will make it more attractive production in our country. Earlier, the government nullified the rates of import duties on car components for assembly plants.
