NVIDIA has released new chipset drivers NFORCE FOR LINUX

The Taiwanese company nVidia has released new drivers for its family of nForce chipsets for the operating system Linux.

New drivers are optimized for the chipset nVidia nForce 2. According to the developer, in the driver supports PCI ID i810_audio.c audio controller chipset nForce2 (Southbridge MCP2-T and MCP2-A), as well as the support of the LAN controller chipset nForce2. In addition, new drivers have been fixed all known bugs.

According to representatives of nVidia, new drivers for Linux can fully realize the potential of the built-in chipset nForce2 IDE-controller, sound and network controllers and controller USB. Unfortunately, the driver does not support the win-modem.
