In the beginning of the construction ULYANOVSK CENTER FOR AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
The company FL Technics Ulyanovsk, which is part of the Lithuanian aviation business group Avia Solutions Group, began construction of the center on the maintenance and repair of aircraft on the basis of port special economic zone in Ulyanovsk. It is said in a statement.
FL Technics Ulyanovsk became the first resident of the special zone, which embarked on a major infrastructure project in the airport Ulyanovsk-East.
According to the approved design, FL Technics Ulyanovsk build two hangars of 8,000 square meters each for the maintenance and repair of narrow-and wide-body aircraft.
It is planned that the first hangar will be put into operation in early 2015. Next to the hangar will be prepared apron for aircraft total area of 3,000 square meters.
The total investment Avia Solutions Group in the project will exceed 700 million rubles.
The company FL Technics Ulyanovsk residents received a certificate of special zone at the airport Ulyanovsk-East in 2011.
Construction of aircraft maintenance center in Ulyanovsk is the third such project for Avia Solutions Group. In 2006, the company completed the project for the construction of technical hangar in Vilnius Airport (Lithuania).
