Following the accelerator-based GeForce GTX 670, the company decided to release the ELSA card with one of the most affordable series GPU GeForce 600, GT 640. Just note that the new product uses a new architecture of the GPU Kepler, and among other GeForce GT 640 are the old chip.

This card uses a simple ELSA cooler (quite appropriate for the accelerator of this level), but rather quiet, the noise should not exceed 28 dB. The flow of air from the radiator is directed by elements of the power system, further cooling them. The cooler does not take the place of additional expansion slots, but there are more overall product, devoid of the fan.

The new GPU has at its disposal 384 stream core frequency of 900 MHz. DDR3 memory running at low (compared to GDDR5) frequency of 1782 MHz, its capacity to meet the specifications 2GB NVIDIA, the memory bus is 128-bit. Total length of a full-size printed circuit board - 164 mm.

Power consumption does not exceed 65 watts, so that you can do without additional power connectors. These are wired video output DVI-I, DVI-D and mini-HDMI.

Two-year warranty, the price is not yet known.
