ARMENIA PLANNED CONSTRUCTION OF TWO UNIQUE an ultra-modern cancer center
In Armenia, non-communicable diseases among the second largest number of patients and mortality occupy cancer. This was on September 28 at a meeting of the permanent parliamentary commissions said Health Minister Derenik Dumanyan. According to him, Armenia for two years will be built two unique ultramodern cancer center.
The first center will be built with the assistance of the World Bank, the negotiations are nearing completion. When creating the center will take into account all the requirements of modern diagnostics, treatment, rehabilitation, palliative medicine. The center will be used all the cutting-edge methods of radiation therapy, chemotherapy.
The second center, the minister said, will be a children#39;s oncohematological center, work on the design of which have already begun. `There will proceed center stem cell and bone marrow, and our children are able to receive appropriate medical services in Armenia #39;, - he said, adding that today, for the transplantation of stem cells and bone marrow patients are sent to Germany. Dumanyan also informed that the work on the design and construction of the center will be carried out by German experts.
