Non-contact EEG was developed by experts from the Centre for Physical Electronics of the University of Sussex, EEG records using a system of sensors that register the slightest changes in the electromagnetic field generated by the brain. According to its creators, the device accurately reproduces the electrophysiological images of individual brain anatomy, not yielding in this classic #39;electrode#39; electroencephalography.

By the way, a few months ago, this same research group has developed a contactless ECG, recording without the help of the electrodes the electrical activity of the heart.
