NINTENDO LAUNCHES ADAPTER TO CONNECT GAMEBOY ADVANCE TO TV
The company Nintendo is preparing to release the Japanese market a special adapter for handheld consoles Series GameBoy, allowing you to play games on a TV screen. The adapter will connect to the flagship game console Nintendo GameCube. The device, called Game Boy Player (GBP), more closely resembles a stand for GameCube.

GBP is connected to the bottom of large boxes, the length and width of the adapter are the same as in GameCube.

In front of the Game Boy Player is located nest to the cartridges. Supported games for all models of handheld consoles Nintendo: GameBoy, GameBoy Color and GameBoy Advance. Will be used to control conventional geypad GameCube.

The Company expects that the issue of GBP will increase the popularity of its products among customers. Sales of Game Boy Player in the Japanese market will begin in March of next year. Price of the device will be 5000 yen (about 41 U.S. dollars).

It should be noted that Nintendo has released in the past similar products. For example, in the mid-90#39;s, it offered an adapter that lets you play games for GameBoy on your television using a 16-bit console Super Nintendo Enterntaiment System (SNES). Externally it looks like a normal cartridge adapter for SNES, equipped with a jack for cartridges GameBoy.

The attractive feature of this adapter was that on the TV screen in black and white games for GameBoy (GameBoy Color version at that time has not yet appeared) are colored.
