In the Eurasian National University named after Lev Gumilev install solar power plants
Addressing the participants of the opening ceremony of the solar power plant, the Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Orunkhanov noted that the development of alternative energy is an important part of the global environmental and energy initiatives of the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, supported by an international conference in Rio de Janeiro.
`It is symbolic that the discovery of solar panels in the walls is a leading university of the country - the Eurasian National University. The university where academic achievement and education are seen as a whole, and the walls of which are carried out, in fact, the most groundbreaking, most ambitious scientific projects#39;, - said Deputy Minister.
`The event is important not only for our university, but for the whole of our country as a whole. Starting the installation of energy recovery, the source of which is the sun, is the beginning of a great work, aimed at moving and upgrading the power system across the country on the new so-called #39;renewable#39; energy sources. It#39;s kind of contribution to our university in the industrial-innovative development of our country.
This is one more step, and our contribution to the transformation of the society of intellectual work #39;, - said the rector Erlan Sydykov.
