NIS LAUNCHES PROJECT TO BUILD VETROELEKTROSTATSII

The project is NIS 50%, the total cost of VES, including the development of basic engineering and obtaining the necessary permits, the order of 160 million euros. Wind power plant will be the first object in the electricity infrastructure to be built in Serbia for the past 25 years.

Start construction of the plant is scheduled for the summer of 2013, currently under final consultation on the selection of equipment suppliers and contractors for construction and installation work.

In the course of the project in the municipality of Plandiste planned to install 34 wind turbines with total capacity of 102 MW. WEC Plandiste `` will be the first wind farm in Serbia and its operation will ensure the production of 212 GWh / hours of electricity per year. The current legislation of Serbia stipulates that the electricity produced by wind farm will be redeemed state company Elektroprivreda Serbia ``.
