In light industry increased by 13.2%
In the light industry of Uzbekistan in January-September this year, output was produced in excess of 4.314 trillion soums or 13.2% more than in the corresponding period last year.
As the information service of the State Statistics Committee, the textile industry enterprises produced products worth more than 3.648 trillion soums (growth - 10.6%).
Gins cotton fiber production increased by 2.6%, cotton seed - 6%, cotton linters - by 8.6%.
Production of cotton yarn increased by 14.6%, mixed fabrics - by 12%, cotton textiles - by 4.6%, the fabric - by 5.9%, filter cloth belting - by 1.9 times.
Release of leather goods increased by 16.9 times, hosiery - by 2.9 times, carpets and rugs - by 22.9%.
