`` Gazprom and E.ON DISCUSSED Russian natural gas to Germany
In Moscow held a working meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Gazprom `` Alexei Miller and E.ON AG CEO Dr. Johannes Theissen. The parties discussed the current issues and prospects for further cooperation in the energy field.
In particular, they talked about the implementation of joint infrastructure projects, as well as the supply of Russian natural gas to Germany.
E.ON AG is Europe#39;s largest private electric power and gas concern.
In October 2008 OAO Gazprom `and` E.ON AG signed an agreement for joint participation in the development of the South-Russian oil and gas field.
In June 2009 between the two companies signed an agreement on exchange of assets. In accordance with this agreement, Gazprom `` was 49% in the Company `Gerosgaz`, which owns 2.93% of shares of JSC Gazprom ``, resulting in the ownership of the stake completely shifted from E.ON Ruhrgas to Gazprom ``. E.ON, in turn, received 25% of the share capital of `` Severneftegazprom (thus, the share of E.ON AG was 25% minus three ordinary registered shares and three preferred shares without voting rights).
E.ON is also a partner of Gazprom `` `gas pipeline Nord Stream`.
