China and the EU agreed

The agreement defines the size of the growth of Chinese textile imports to the EU, signed on Saturday night in Shanghai.
Told reporters in Shanghai, EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson, the period up to 2007 inclusive will be stable transition and since 2008 the European market will be fully open for the Chinese textile products. Chinese representatives in this regard stated that the agreement creates the conditions for a stable export Chinese textile products to the EU. During the negotiations, it was stressed that the EU imports of Chinese textile products is an important part of trade between the two sides in the future to avoid unilateral creation of obstacles, and all issues should be resolved through consultation, said Mandelson.
