Bishkek to host VI INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIR `TEXTILE PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT 2012`
, USAID will support the Association of Light Industry in organizing the 2nd International Trade Fair of fashion `Textile products and equipment-2012 #39;, which will be held from 2 to 7 March at the Sports Palace named Kojomkul.
This activity contributes to the textile companies of Kyrgyzstan in the promotion and marketing of their products. During this fair, companies will also be able to sign contracts with regional and international partners. It is expected that the exhibition will visit potential business partners from China, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkey.
About 100 companies will participate in this fair, the press service of the U.S. Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The exhibition will be attended by President Almazbek Atambayev, Prime Minister Omurbek Babanov and U.S. Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Pamela Spratlen.
Association of Light Industry (`` Light Industry), established in 2005, is the largest industry association in Kyrgyzstan, which unites 570 of the 900 registered textile companies. In association with branches in the north and the south of Kyrgyzstan, as well as representative offices in 17 major cities of the Russian Federation. `` Light industry is one of the key players involved in the development and implementation of the strategy of textile and garment industry of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic for the period 2009-2011.
