The new chipsets SIS
The company announced two new SiS chipset for AMD Hammer CPU and Intel Pentium 4:
SiS755 is intended for processors AMD Hammer. It supports AGP 8x, provides built-in 5.1-channel AC#39;97 2.2 audio, 10/100Mb Ethernet, Home PNA2.0, ATA/133 interfaces. For data transfer between the north and south bridges uses a proprietary bus SiS MuTIOL with a capacity of 1 GB / s. SiS655, designed for the Pentium 4, is equipped with a dual-channel (!) DDR333 memory controller and supports Hyper Threading.
Peripheral capabilities are similar to the previous solution.
