PAKISTAN TEXTILE EXPORTS TO 6.79 BILLION. DOLLARS
For the period from July to April this year, Pakistan exported textile products to U.S. $ 6.79 billion, according to the Sunday edition of the local press. According to the Federal State Statistics Bureau textile exports grew by 15.28% over the corresponding period of the previous year. This strong growth was in exports of cotton garments, knitwear, towels and clothing mass production.
By the end of the financial year textile exports may cross the line 7-8 billion dollars, according to IRNA.
