JSC Metalloinvest not involved in the purchase of shares in Steel Plant Kryvorizhstal. This statement was made CEO metalloinvesta Nazim Effendi.
Earlier, JSC Metalloinvest managed assets of businessman Alisher Usmanov (Mikhailovsky GOK, Kursk region, and LLC Ural Steel) announced that the company is considering the possibility of participating in a consortium to acquire Krivorozhstali. The proposal for the participation of JSC Metalloinvest in the competition came from the Ukrainian group Privat and several Ukrainian companies.
In addition, the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) has entered into agreements with potential buyers Steel Plant Kryvorizhstal - the Russian Evrazholdingom and Severstal, an international company Mittal Steel and Ukrainian Privat-Intertrading. Results of the competition for the sale of 93% shares of Kryvorizhstal will be announced on October 24.
