Model PC-FS2-C3M is equipped with 15-inch LCD display with a resolution of XGA (1024 x 768) and a hard drive capacity of 40 GB, and the model PC-FS2-C3E - 14-inch display with XGA resolution and a hard disk of 30 GB. Further technical specifications of the two models are identical: Mobile Processor AMD Athlon 1400 +, RAM 256 MB (expandable to 768 MB), a network controller, a slot for PC-card type 2, four x USB (two ports USB 1.1 standard and two-port standard USB 2.0), IEEE 1394 (FireWire), as well as TV-out S-Video.
Overall dimensions of the two models are identical: 330 x 282 x 39 mm. The notebook PC-FS2-C3M is about 3.5 kg, and the model PC-FS2-C3E is 100 grams lighter.
On laptops are pre-operating system Microsoft Windows XP Home and office suite Office XP Personal.
Laptops Sharp PC-FS2-C3M and PC-FS2-C3E will be on sale in Japan December 7, 2003 at an estimated retail price of $ 185,000 and 175,000 yen (about 1,508 and 1,427 U.S. dollars), respectively.
