IN JULY IRON ORE IMPORTS IN UKRAINE HAS DECREASED BY 27 7%

IN JULY iron ore imports in Ukraine has decreased by 27.7%.

In July iron ore imports decreased by 27.7%, or 35.2 million tonnes compared with June to 91.97 million tons. This is stated in the data of the State Statistics Committee.
Costs for the purchase of iron ore in July fell by 50%, or 2.99 million to 2.99 million.
Imports of non-agglomerated ore decreased by 19.6% or 10.29 million tons to 42.19 million tons.
Agglomerated ore imports decreased by 33.4% or 24.91 million tons to 49.78 million tons.
Compared with July 2004 iron ore imports in July, down 29.5%, or 38.41 tons.
In January-July iron ore imports decreased by 12.3% or 223.18 million tonnes compared with January-July 2004 and amounted to 1,597.07 tons at 99.01 million.
As reported, in June iron ore imports decreased by 53.3% or 145.34 million tonnes compared with May to 127.17 thousand tons.
In 2004, iron ore imports fell by 62%, or 4,681.47 tons compared with 2003 and amounted to 2,874.73 tonnes on 126.96 million.
