COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION IN MOSCOW MUSEUM OF WAR OF 1812
Construction of the Museum of the War of 1812 in Moscow, which is created on the basis of the State Historical Museum, completed, and it is an installation of the exhibition halls, told RIA Novosti Deputy Culture Minister Andrei Gagarin.
The new museum, scheduled to open in late summer - early autumn, is located in the courtyard of the former City Council, better known as Lenin Museum and is a two-level pavilion with a transparent roof.

He recalled that the project was planned to implement a hundred years ago, to the secular anniversary of Russia#39;s victory in the Patriotic War of 1812, but that prevented the First World War and the Revolution of 1917.
`For 100 years later than planned, at last museum will be open as a division of the State Historical Museum (GIM). It is in its funds kept everything that was collected by 1912 #39;- said Gagarin.
Earlier, the State Historical Museum Director Alex Levykin told RIA Novosti that the basis of the exposition will be those items that have been accumulated in the funds of the Museum of History after an extensive exhibition, held in the capital on the occasion of the centennial of the War of 1812.
