MAGNEZIT RATH GMBH AND SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT
Magnesite Group and an international industrial company RATH GmbH, specializing in the production of refractory materials based on aluminum oxide, silicon oxide and zirconium oxide, have entered into a strategic cooperation agreement.
The aim of cooperation is the joint development of projects for the modernization of furnaces, rolling and production engineering. Products are supplied and the subsequent service of thermal units is a new market segment for the Group Magnesite. Cooperation with RATH GmbH will provide companies a metal-and machine-building complex on the territory of Russia and the CIS not only advanced world-class technical solutions, but also effective ways to implement them with the opportunity to optimize costs.
With its advanced experience in implementing similar projects and unique solutions, the company RATH assumes responsibility for engineering projects. Magnesite Group, with its modern facilities to provide services to the operational service of heating units and a developed network of sales and service offices in the territory of the CIS, the project will provide a complete supply of essential materials and services as well as direct interaction with partners and customers.
As part of the strategic partnership, certain types of refractory products, such as arched or bottom blocks, blocks for insulation skid tubes will be produced with the use of fire-resistant materials RATH at the production facilities of the Group in the Magnesite Russia. It is planned that, in collaboration with Western companies in the project will be run by representatives Kyshtymskoye refractory plant (Kyshtym, Chelyabinsk region), and the Scientific-production company `` Magnesite (Satka, Chelyabinsk region).
To date, agreements have been reached on launching the first projects on service capacity of enterprises in Russia and Ukraine in the current year.
