Exports of aluminum from Russia in January-August 2012 increased by 6.7% to $ 2.405 million tons, according to the Federal Customs Service.

Total cost of supplies was $ 4.679 billion, a decrease of 3.1% compared to the same period in 2011 ($ 4.831 billion).

Aluminum exports to non-CIS countries increased by 5.7% - up to 2.356 million tonnes, the amount of sales decreased by 4.3% - to $ 4.571 billion in the implementation of the CIS countries has doubled - to 48.4 million tonnes of aluminum, the amount of supply also doubled - to $ 107.6 million

Russian aluminum exports in 2011 increased by 2.4% - up to 3.419 million tons of supply cost was $ 7.158 billion versus $ 6.021 billion in 2010
