LEARN FROM MONGOLIA KYRGYZSTAN extract minerals
Parliament delegation headed by the leader of the Social Democratic Party faction Chynybay Tursunbekov at the invitation of the Parliament of Mongolia, from 2 to 6 October, a visit was in Mongolia, the press service of the Parliament.
The delegation includes MPs Almazbek Baatyrbekov (#39;Republic#39;), Kanybek Imanaliev (`Ar-`), Bakhtiyar Sulejmani (`Ata-Jurt`) Osmonaliev (`Ar-`), Elmira Imanalieva (`Ata-Jurt `), Ulugbek Kochkorov (` Ata-Jurt `), Alla Izmalkova (PDAP` `), Ravshan Zheenbekov and Kanatbek Isaev.
During the visit, the Parliament met with Mongolian President Elbegdorj Tsakhia, Speaker Z.Enhbold, chairman of the Committee on Foreign and Security Policy, as well as the leaders of the parliamentary factions.
At the meetings the sides exchanged views on the development of parliamentary democracy, the strengthening of inter-parliamentary cooperation. It is planned to study the experience of Mongolia in the extraction of gold and other minerals.
As noted at the meetings, Mongolia, choosing a parliamentary form of government is developing dynamically. Mining industry has made significant progress, taking 0.5 percent of world production of gold and 1 percent of world coal production.
In recent years, there are significant achievements in the production of mineral resources. Mongolia ranks second in the world in the production of cashmere, developing and processing industry.
