EU could restrict imports of Chinese textiles

April 29, 2005 the European Union began to study the dynamics of the supply of textile products from China, which will last 60 days. This decision was made on the eve of the European Commission. Upon completion of this study in the EU may be asked to impose strict quotas on Chinese textile imports. Against the export of textile products from China to the EU in the first place objected France, Italy, Greece and Portugal.

Paris even offered to introduce measures #39;emergency restrictions#39; supply of textiles from China. Spain said the other day about the need for immediate consultations with Beijing on nine categories of Chinese goods. Earlier, the restrictive measures on imports of textiles from China have established the United States.
