WORLD diamond monopoly RETURNS TO ANGOLA

The world diamond monopoly company De Beers has announced his return to Angola. According to ITAR-TASS quoted the agency SAPA, De Beers entered into an agreement with the Angolan state-owned diamond company ENDIAMA. The two companies will establish a joint venture diamond mining in the province of Lunda Norte, which is considered one of the richest diamonds in Angola.


De Beers operated in Angola since 1990, but in 2000 decided to withdraw from the country in connection with the dead end in talks with the Angolan government of providing investment guarantees De Beers. After that Angola sell their diamonds through the Israeli company Askorp. Angolan diamonds along with the Namibian considered the most precious jewels in the world, the price per carat rough diamond Angolan comes to $ 700.
