Severstal RAISE PRICES OF BASIC TYPES OF METAL
Cherepovets Steel Mill, one of the largest integrated steel plant in the world (part of the Division of Severstal Russian Steel ``) due to the rising cost of rent in the world markets (in this case over the past year, prices for steel products decreased by more than 16%) and rising costs for raw materials announces a price increase for the main types of metal.
In particular, the cost of hot-rolled steel for delivery in March 2013 to increase by 2%, cold-rolled steel by 3%. For coated steel revision list prices upward is expected in the next few days. At the same time in the next 2 weeks is not ruled out further increase in prices due to the above factors.
