KEGOC `REPLACES THE OUTDATED HIGH-VOLTAGE EQUIPMENT 55 SUBSTATIONS KAZAKHSTAN

`KEGOC` replaces the outdated high-voltage equipment 55 SUBSTATIONS KAZAKHSTAN

As part of this project, in November this year at 500 kV EGPP (Yesil main step-down substation) is made to install a new auto-transformer capacity of 500 megavolt-amperes (MVA) to replace the existing (1975 release). The cost of auto-transformer - 1.1 billion tenge. Replacement of equipment at 500 kV EGPP improve the reliability of electricity supply to consumers of Akmola region in the autumn-winter peak loads.

The project `Electricity Transmission Rehabilitation Project in Kazakhstan, II stage` provides for the replacement of obsolete equipment in high-voltage substations of 55, which will increase the technical and environmental safety work while reducing operating costs for maintenance and repair.

The objectives of the project is to ensure the sustainable operation of electrical equipment in the market, increasing the reliability and quality of power supply.

Funding for this project is AO `KEGOC` by means of unsecured loan in the amount of the Bank? 255 million
