EXPORT GROWTH IN INDONESIA TIN
Supply of refined tin from Indonesia in December leapt by 9.4% compared to the previous month and amounted to 8,689 thousand tonnes True, up to a maximum of sales recorded in December 2011 at the level of 15.103 tonnes, while still far away.
At the end of last year, Indonesia has sent exported 98.817 million tons, exceeding the 2.9% result in 2011, and in spite of the decrease in the production of the national leaders of the tin industry Timah and Koba Tin. But the increased activity of small and medium-sized companies, three of them Bukit Timah, Refined Bangka Tin and Tinindo Inter Nusa registered their brands on the LME.
