DAC PARASOUND ZDAC
Parasound is Zdac, digital-to-analog converter that works when playing music files from your PC via a USB or CD-player, Sonos, any other media player via an optical or coaxial digital connector. Zdac joins lineup of Z-Series - a series of compact, half-width `` devices. The new DAC is available in a black version of the design with loops for mounting in a rack in the new silver finish without loops.
Zdac processes the signal is more natural and less #39;digital#39; way than most modern converters, due to the peculiarities of its design and high quality components. System clock recovery Zdac stores all data of the original source, eliminating jitter which `` picked up by the digital signal path. A similar effect is achieved through the interaction of two key components: Analog Devices AD1895 (asynchronous sample rate converter) and AD1853 DAC IC (integrated circuit DAC is the same as that used in the CD-player Parasound Halo).
Next, the sound quality is improved by increasing the sampling frequency up to 422 kHz. The system jitter works with all inputs, not just with USB, like other Central Asian converters.
As well as other devices Series Z-Series, Zdac equipped with built-in power supply, rather than the typical remote that plugs directly into an electrical outlet. In addition, there are gold-plated unbalanced RCA jacks and balanced output XLR.
Headphone out Zdac controlled high-current amplifier with a low noise level, able to work with any headphones (32 to 600 ohms). A separate headphone volume control.
Zdac also has high-speed relays that choke the pops and other noise that appear when you turn on / off the device and the input selector.
Parasound Zdac is available in two versions: black with a loop for attaching a rack and silver strapless. Each option has a compartment in the front. Black Zdac has a width of 24.1 cm (exactly half-width), silver - 21,6 cm
