COAL IN ROSTOV REGION
Coal mines in the Rostov region in the first nine months of this year produced 4.1 million tons of coal, which is 7% higher than the same period last year, told the Minister of Industry of the region Alexander Grebenschikov.
`Movement in the coal industry happy, is planned growth figures: in the first nine months of coal production is 107%, and at the end of the year expect the same growth #39;- the minister said, adding that in 2011 was produced 5.25 million tons forecast for the current year - 5.6 million tons of coal.
Grebenschikov stressed that these figures are good enough, considering that on the one hand, a number of mines in the region this year was in a simple, but on the other hand, the entire coal industry is facing problems due to the low price of coal on the world market.
Investment in the coal industry in the first nine months amounted to about 1.5 billion rubles by the end of the year is expected to amount - about 2 billion rubles, which is also a few percent will exceed the 2011.
In the Rostov region today has eight mines: Sadkinskaya `` `Diamond`, `Eastern`, `Far`, `Sherlovskaya-inclined`, `Rostov`, `Zamchalovskaya` and `` Obukhovskaya.
