The share of counterfeit products on the Russian market, the average is almost 20%, textile and light industry - 30%. This was announced by Head of Economic Security and Anti-Corruption (GUEBiPK) Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Police Major General Dennis Sugrobov, RIA Novosti ``.
According to him, in the first nine months of this year, law enforcement agencies have identified more than 2.5 thousand crimes related to counterfeiting. The damage caused by these crimes is estimated at 360 million rubles, said Major-General. He added that the producers of counterfeits within the specified time the property was seized by 402 million rubles.
According Sugrobova in Russia will toughen responsibility for the sales of counterfeit goods. He noted that GUEBiPK now preparing the proposals for amendments to the Russian legislation. The Minister recalled that at the present time for the sale of counterfeit supposed punishment of up to six years in prison.
He stressed that for a criminal case needs to damages from the sale of counterfeit goods is not less than 1.5 million rubles. `It is planned to make changes even half - 750,000 rubles would be perfect at all #39;- said Sugrobov.
Among the counterfeit goods are four of their kind. First, it is original products imported into the country a firm that does not have the rights to use the trademark.
